Moody Oahu Elopement . Kaaawa, HI
Still less than 24 hours of being on the island of Honolulu and I already feel immersed to the island life and being surrounded by 12+ other women all around the states. My heart couldn’t be more captivated by the lush mountains, vibrant blossoms, and clear blue oceans. I can already smell the salt water on my hair, piles of sand already lodged into my sneakers, and the fresh morning dew trickling off the the palm leafs and pink gingers. I didn’t even bother to sleep in the entire week, as each sunrise was just as much as an experience as any other. After investing our morning with brewed coffee and lecture with, photo legend, Anni Graham we then assembled all of our camera gear and slipped into our most extensive hiking gear headed straight towards Crouching Lion Hike in Kaaawa.
Before I go on any further, “Thank you Anni for sugar coating this entire hike!” If she or anyone else mentioned beforehand that we would have been hiking up 4 mile of a 2,000 elevation mountain, I honestly would of stayed behind …but thankfully I wasn’t raised to say “No” to a hike, thanks Dad!
Every part of me is still freaking out uncontrollably about this stylized elopement shoot with Sarah and Derek!!! Minus the mud slides and occasionally rock climbing + butt squats that took us to get to the top of this glorious view was 100% worth it. This entire week is sure going in the books as one of the most extreme, yet most grateful experiences I have ever experienced this entire year. Any newly engaged couples want to elope someplace like this?!
